Day 2: 31 Days in Proverbs

Questions to Ponder

  1. Proverbs 2 is one long conditional sentence: “If . . . , then . . .” If you seek out to find wisdom (verse 1-4). The “then” (verse 9-22) show what is discovered if you seek wisdom. Describe the benefits of wisdom.
  2. How did Samson give away his strength?
  3. How could Samson have avoided giving away his strength?
  4. What are some areas in your life that you must wisely keep a very close watch so you do not fail and give away your strength? (NOTE: For clarity, it is true as Christ followers we are to be vigilant and guard ourselves against all sin. Most people are less likely to fall in one area, and more likely to fall in another. The question points to this.)
  5. As you read Proverbs 2, what verse(s) or thought(s) stuck out? Explain why?
