Reread 3:13-20. Note 3:18 “tree of life.” PONDER & CONSIDER the following and write your thoughts. Tree of life appears in Genesis, Revelation and Proverbs. In the context of Proverbs is creation, commands, knowledge and wisdom. What temptation did the enemy use to finally get Adam and Eve to eat of the Tree of Knowledge? How does this relate to Proverbs? How does it relate to true wisdom?
Proverbs 2 is one long conditional sentence: “If . . . , then . . .” If you seek out to find wisdom (verse 1-4). The “then” (verse 9-22) show what is discovered if you seek wisdom. Describe the benefits of wisdom.
